Spireites complete Caig deal

Chesterfield have received international clearance to complete the signing of goalkeeper Tony Caig.

The 34-year-old, who has previously played for Newcastle, Carlisle, Blackpool and Hibernian, has agreed a short-term deal at Saltergate.

He will provide cover to the Spireites' first-choice keeper Tommy Lee and will go straight into the squad for Saturday's League Two match against Dagenham & Redbridge.
