Coventry have revealed that goalkeeper Andy Marshall will be released at the end of the season.
The 33-year-old, who played in the Sky Blues' Carling Cup win at Old Trafford last season, was the club's player of the season in 2006/07.
But manager Chris Coleman says keeping Marshall would be a luxury the club cannot afford and told BBC West Midlands: "He's been fantastic for us but Dimi (Konstantopolous) still has a year on his contract and we have young Danny Ireland coming through."
He added: "I wanted to tell him sooner rather than later so he has time to fix something up."
