Kranjcar grabs Pompey point

Portsmouth's Niko Kranjcar struck a superb free-kick to deny West Brom in an entertaining 2-2 Barclays Premier League relegation showdown at Fratton Park.

Younes Kaboul fired Pompey into a half-time lead with a brilliant individual goal but Jonathan Greening and Chris Brunt hit back for West Brom after the interval.

Brunt produced a fine free-kick in the 62nd minute, but it was bettered at the other end three minutes later through Kranjcar.
