Bulls swoop for Valentine

Hereford have completed the signing of Darlington defender Ryan Valentine on a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old was placed on the transfer list along with all-but one of the cash-strapped Quakers squad after they were forced to enter into administration in February.

But Valentine, who started his career at Everton before moving to Darlington where he enjoyed two spells either side of a stint at Wrexham.

Bulls manager John Trewick said: "He`s a full-back and can operate at both left-back and right-back. I am very happy to have signed him."
