Latics swoop for Blackman

Oldham have completed the signing of rookie Blackburn striker Nick Blackman on a month's loan.

Blackman, who began his career at Macclesfield, joins fellow Rovers prospect Alex Marrow in moving from Ewood Park to join the Latics on loan.

Blackman, 19, is seeking regular first-team football and could make his Oldham debut in Saturday's home clash against Swindon.
