Manager Gary Ablett revealed Carl Baker's double strike in Stockport's 2-2 draw at Yeovil came despite the midweek death of the striker's brother.
Baker scored from the spot after goalkeeper Alex McCarthy was dismissed and added a second in first-half stoppage-time to take his season's tally to nine. But the Glovers twice came back to earn a point with goals from Gavin Tomlin and Sam Williams.
"He has scored nearly all of our goals," said Ablett. "But he may not have played - I gave him the option because of a family tragedy this week when his brother sadly passed away."
