Robert Snodgrass ensured Leeds remain on top of Coca-Cola League One with a late winner to sink MK Dons 1-0.

Snodgrass' third goal of the season in the 92nd minute keeps Leeds out in front at the top of the table by two points from Charlton.

The Addicks beat Exeter 2-1 at The Valley, with the visitors' Bertie Cozic also scoring in the 92nd minute but only after Nick Bailey and Izale McLeod had given the home side a two-goal cushion.

Bristol Rovers are now four points adrift in third after they were held to a 1-1 draw at the Memorial Stadium by 10-man Brighton.

Jo Kuffour equalised for the home side in the 68th minute after James Tunnicliffe had scored 12 minutes earlier for the visitors, who had Adam Virgo dismissed on the stroke of half-time.

Behind MK Dons in fourth, Colchester and Huddersfield also lost ground as they drew 1-1 and 0-0 respectively at Tranmere and at home to Stockport.

Rovers ended a run of seven consecutive defeats in a game that saw eight players booked but were pegged back by on-loan John-Joe O'Toole shortly after John Welsh had opened the scoring in the 35th minute.

Tranmere remain one place off the bottom and still five points clear of Southampton, who needed a 96th-minute equaliser from Radhi Jaidi to salvage a point from a 1-1 draw at Carlisle.
