Demontagnac braced for ban

Blackpool midfielder Ishmel Demontagnac faces a three-match ban following his sending-off in a midweek reserve match.

The former Walsall player will be available for selection for the next three first-team games against Plymouth, Sheffield United and Swansea.

But he will be banned for matches against Doncaster, Scunthorpe and Reading following his red card for violent conduct.

Club secretary Matt Williams said: "As Ishmel was sent off in a reserve match, the suspension does not begin for 14 days.

"However, as the dismissal was for violent conduct he will miss three first-team matches, which means he will miss the Doncaster, Scunthorpe and Reading games."
