Whaley deal extended

Rochdale have confirmed they have extended Simon Whaley's stay at Spotland for a further month.

The Norwich winger's initial one-month loan spell was due to end on Sunday but the League Two side have succeeded in securing his services until after the Chesterfield match on November 14.

Whaley made six appearances in all competitions for the Canaries before his loan switch and has featured in all five of Rochdale's games since joining them, scoring once.
