Hoyte deal extended

Brighton have extended Gavin Hoyte`s loan deal from Arsenal until the new year.

The young full-back has impressed for the Seagulls following his arrival in October, making six appearances in League One.

Brighton boss Gus Poyet told the club`s official website: "It will give us the time to see him properly. I think he will help us. He's young, he's happy here."

He added: "This is a confident step in his career. He's come here and he's got stronger. I know he's willing to learn, and I know he can help us."
