Bradford hit back to secure a 1-1 draw with League Two leaders Bournemouth in a hard-fought battle at Valley Parade.

Bournemouth, who went into the match with a two-point lead at the top of the table, took the lead after 32 minutes when Anton Robinson found Brett Pitman unmarked in the penalty area and he scored with a low right-foot shot.

However, Bradford came back well and deservedly equalised after 41 minutes when Gareth Evans ran onto a through pass from Lee Bullock before slotting the ball into the net with a left-footed shot.

The Cherries had the better chances in the second half, but Robinson, Liam Feeney and Lee Bradbury all fired wide when well placed and Bradford almost snatched victory four minutes from the end when goalkeeper Shwan Jalal managed to block Bullock's header on the line.
