Stalemate at Ewood Park

Blackburn had to settle for a point at Ewood Park as they played out a goaless draw against Stoke in the absence of manager Sam Allardyce.

He was recovering after having a procedure yesterday to correct a heart complaint.

Blackburn almost secured the points and their fifth successive home win in the league but Steven Nzonzi's effort came back off the post.
