Anton Robinson is a doubt as Bournemouth welcome Torquay to Dean Court.

The midfielder missed the Boxing Day win at Cheltenham with a back injury and he is again struggling.

However, goalkeeper Shwan Jalal overcame a calf injury in time to make the Whaddon Road clash and he should be okay to continue.

Mark Molesley is out with a foot injury and could miss the rest of the season, but fellow long-term absentee Scott Guyett (knee) could return to the squad for the first time in three months.

Boss Eddie Howe was only able to name five substitutes against Cheltenham on Saturday and he will again be short on numbers.

However, the small squad has not affected performances and Howe's men will aim to bring a fantastic 2009 to a close with another victory.

Torquay manager Paul Buckle is likely to change his winning side.

The Gulls beat Hereford 1-0 on Saturday thanks to a Nicky Wroe penalty and Scott Rendell, who came off the bench to replace Elliott Benyon, is likely to start in attack.

Buckle recalled Chris Zebroski and Michael Poke to his side for the Hereford win and both are set to keep their places.

Skipper Chris Hargreaves was rested against Hereford and will hope to challenge Tyrone Thompson for a starting berth.

On-loan Tottenham man Adam Smith suffered a blow to the face late in the game but should be fit. The experienced Kevin Nicholson is preparing to deputise should he be needed.
