Ipswich goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett is set to sign a new contract which will keep him at Portman Road until the summer of 2011.

The 25-year-old signed a short-term contract in August when Shane Supple unexpectedly retired from football and has found himself first-choice in recent weeks after Richard Wright injured his knee.

Manager Roy Keane told the club's official website: "Arran should be signing and he deserves a new contract. He has done well for us but the hard work starts now."

He added: "He knows he has got a battle on with Brian Murphy for the number one jersey and, who knows, there may even be another keeper coming in."
