Wednesday keep Soares on loan

Stoke have confirmed that midfielder Tom Soares will remain on loan to Coca-Cola Championship side Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.

Soares moved to Hillsborough on an initial one-month loan at the end of November and this was extended by a further month just after Christmas.

Manager Tony Pulis said: "Tom needs regular first-team football and it's fantastic he is making the most of this opportunity to play regularly at Championship level."
