Leeds skipper Richard Naylor could be back in contention for the home game with Colchester.

The central defender has missed the last two matches due to a hamstring injury but may now return to help stiffen up a defence that leaked three goals at Swindon in midweek.

Manager Simon Grayson has no new injury or suspension problems but could be tempted to tweak his line-up after seeing his side take just one point from their last three league games.

Max Gradel will be hoping to feature prominently after recently signing a permanent deal at Elland Road while teenage defender Aidan White is pushing for a rare start.

Grayson has opted to start with Argentinian striker Luciano Becchio on the substitutes' bench in recent matches while Andy Robinson returned to the bench at Swindon and could also be in contention.

Colchester will check on the fitness of defender Christian Ribeiro.

The on-loan Bristol City full-back suffered a groin injury during the midweek win over MK Dons, although boss Aidy Boothroyd is hopeful he will be able to travel. John White is on standby if Ribeiro misses out.

On-loan Leeds midfielder David Prutton, who scored on his Colchester debut against the Dons, is ineligible.

Defender Paul Reid missed out after picking up a knock in training and is doubtful while striker Ian Henderson serves the final game of his three-match ban.

Winger Ashley Vincent is close to returning after a long lay-off with ankle injury but the clash will probably come too soon.
