Doncaster sign defender from rivals

Doncaster have signed centre-half Elliott Ward from Championship rivals Coventry on a month's loan.

The 25-year-old has made more than 100 appearances for the Sky Blues since signing in a £1million deal from Premier League side West Ham in 2006.

However, he has struggled to secure a regular first-team berth since Christmas and will make his Rovers debut in the South Yorkshire clash at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.
