Rob Kozluk is set to be Barnsley`s only absentee for the home game against Blackpool as Ryan Shotton returns from suspension.
Defender Kozluk has a knee injury and Robins does not expect him to recover in time, but Shotton, on loan from Stoke, is available after a four-game ban.
Experienced defender Darren Moore has missed training this week as he nurses a niggle and Robins will assess his fitness closer to kick-off.
Neither Kozluk nor Moore would have expected to start, though, as Robins is unlikely to make any changes to the side that won 2-0 at Cardiff last weekend.
That means that 20-year-old homegrown defender Luke Potter should retain his place in the starting line-up after making just his second appearance for the club against the Bluebirds.
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway will again be without defender Rob Edwards.
Edwards serves the second instalment of a two-game ban and Andy Butler is again set to deputise at the heart of the defence.
Midfielder Gary Taylor-Fletcher succumbed to injury during last weekend`s win over Reading and was replaced by Hameur Bouazza after just 22 minutes.
Taylor-Fletcher will be assessed ahead of this weekend`s game but Danny Coid (hamstring), Daniel Nardiello (groin), and Billy Clarke (knee) all look set to remain sidelined.
Steve McPhee is steadily recovering from a long-term cruciate ligament injury but the forward is not yet ready to be considered for a return to first-team action.
Holloway`s men are in buoyant mood after two successive home wins and three consecutive clean sheets.
