Midfielder Neal Bishop should recover from a knock in time for Notts County`s home game against Macclesfield.
Bishop was forced off in the final 10 minutes of Saturday`s 5-0 win over Hereford at Meadow Lane as new boss Steve Cotterill celebrated his return to management in emphatic style.
However, the 28-year-old trained on Monday and is expected to be included in the squad.
Karl Hawley also had to be withdrawn at the weekend with a hamstring problem. The striker is set to have a scan and is a doubt.
Leading scorer Lee Hughes could fill the void likely to be left by Hawley after the 23-goal forward was absent from the squad against the Bulls.
Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander could name an unchanged starting line-up.
Alexander has no fresh injury or suspension worries for the game at Meadow Lane following Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to league leaders Rochdale.
Defender Paul Morgan is still on the sidelines with a hamstring injury while long-term absentee Hamza Bencherif will not play again this season due to an ankle injury.
Left-back Carl Tremarco is still around a fortnight away from returning from a hernia problem, although striker Kris Dennis could be in contention following a shin complaint.
The Silkmen have won just twice on the road this term and have not registered a victory in League Two since December 28 last year.
