Posh face midfield trouble after Livermore returns to Spurs

Midfielder Jake Livermore has been recalled from his loan at Peterborough by parent club Tottenham.

The 20-year-old joined Posh in January and made nine appearances for the club, scoring once in the 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.

However, with Spurs struggling in midfield with a host of injuries, the Barclays Premier League side have exercised their option to recall Livermore immediately.
