Burnley manager Brian Laws will monitor Steven Fletcher's fitness ahead of the crucial Barclays Premier League match against Stoke on Wednesday at Turf Moor.
Fletcher sat out the defeat by Arsenal on Saturday as he suffered a broken hand while on international duty with Scotland.
Laws said: "We are still not quite sure where we are with Steven Fletcher. We will take it day by day and monitor him. Obviously we want him in the team, there is no question of that. But we have got to be absolutely sure his mindset is right and he is fit to play. We will make a decision probably on Wednesday."
