Marvin Elliott has recovered from a head wound which required three stitches and Bradley Orr has responded well to treatment on a hamstring injury.

Lewin Nyatanga returns to the squad after missing last weekend's 1-0 win at Peterborough with an Achilles problem and Danny Haynes is available following a calf strain.

Boss Keith Millen could therefore name the same starting line-up for the third game on the trot.

Winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce was switched to left-back at London and, although recent loan signing Gary Sawyer is more natural in that position, Millen is set to keep faith with the former Barnsley man.

Jamie McAllister (calf), James Wilson and Jamie McCombe (both knee) remain on the sidelines.

Nottingham Forest have several players nursing bumps and bruises.

Defender Kelvin Wilson and forward Nathan Tyson are among those who picked up knocks during the defeat to Championship leaders Newcastle on Monday night.

They will continue to be assessed ahead of the game while loan signing George Boyd will hope to force his way back into the squad after missing out at St James` Park.

Former City striker Dele Adebola, Luke Chambers, Robert Earnshaw, Garath McCleary, David McGoldrick and Lewis McGugan are all pushing for recalls.

Forest, who have lost their last seven away league matches, could be guarantee a play-off spot by Saturday evening.

Billy Davies` side would be assured of a top-six finish if Blackpool lose at Scunthorpe on Friday, they win at Ashton Gate and Doncaster fail to take all three points at home to Plymouth.
