Danny Wilson has not given up hope of clinching automatic promotion despite watching his Swindon side drop four points in their last two home games.

The Robins were held 1-1 by Walsall on Saturday to follow on from Monday`s draw against Exeter by the same scoreline.

But Wilson insisted: "We still have everything to play for. There is still this second place up for grabs and it's going to be very, very tight but we are still in it."

Charlie Austin cancelled out Steve Jones` opener on Saturday, guaranteeing at least a top-six finish for the Robins.

"It`s great news we`ve made the play-offs," added Wilson. "We huffed and puffed, we had a few clear-cut chances particularly in the first half, but in the second half we used a bit more brawn than brain at times and couldn`t get the winner.

"Walsall are a very good football team, well organised and energetic and on the counter attack were very dangerous.

"We turned our nose up at a couple of chances which could have given us the lead and there was some good defending from their point of view, but we presented them with the goal.

"But it`s a great achievement to cement a play-off place with three games to go."
