Wycombe were all but consigned to relegation after second-half goals from Ryan Jarvis and Scott McGleish gave Leyton Orient a crucial 2-0 victory that virtually assured them of safety.

Orient enjoyed the better of the territorial advantage in the first half but Wycombe earned six corners in the opening 31 minutes and captain Gareth Ainsworth headed over a cross from defender Craig Woodman as half-time approached.

Wycombe started the second half strongly and striker Alex Revell forced home keeper Jamie Jones to produce an outstanding low reflex save.

Orient substitute Harry Baker climbed high to head a cross from the left just over before Jarvis gave Orient the lead in the 78th minute when he raced on to McGleish's pass and fired past Wycombe keeper Tom Heaton.

In added time Orient defender Charlie Daniels broke down the left and crossed for McGleish to put the issue beyond doubt.
