Bristol City goalkeeper Steve Collis has joined Torquay on a seven-day emergency loan deal.

The Gulls are set to face champions Notts County in their final match of the season on Saturday but are without injured goalkeepers Michael Poke and Scott Bevan.

Torquay asked the Football League for permission to sign an emergency keeper in time and Robins caretaker boss Keith Millen was more than happy to assist as the Championship season ended last Sunday.

Millen told his club's official website: "Paul Buckle rang and asked if they could have Steve for their last game of the season and we've allowed him to go there for seven days on an emergency loan."
