MK Dons have made Karl Robinson the youngest manager in the Football League after naming the 29-year-old as Paul Ince's successor.
Robinson has been in day-to-day charge of the Coca-Cola League One side since Ince announced last month that he intended to leave at the end of the season and has impressed despite a poor run of results.
Chairman Pete Winkelman has handed the former Blackburn coach a 12-month rolling contract at stadium:mk and he will now concentrate on assembling a squad to lead the Dons to promotion next season.
