Left-back Alan Sheehan insists he will be glad to part ways with Leeds this summer.

Despite remaining under contract at Elland Road, the Irishman has been told to find a new club by Simon Grayson and looks set to bring the curtain down on two tough years with United in which he has failed to establish himself and spent a large part of his time on loan.

Sheehan has already received offers from other clubs while, having enjoyed his recent six-month spell at Swindon, would be open to a permanent return to the County Ground.

Sheehan said: "I'll be leaving Leeds, as long as Simon Grayson is there I won't be there anyway. I'll be happy to be leaving I suppose and move on with my career."

He added: "There`s a few offers on the table at the moment but I`m going to go and take a break and take one thing at a time."

Asked whether he would consider a move to Swindon were the chance there, he replied: "I can`t really answer that right now. I`ve enjoyed my time and I suppose it would be pretty stupid if I didn`t want to. I haven`t really spoken to Danny Wilson about it."
