Ipswich defender Alex Bruce claims Championship rivals Leicester want to sign him on a permanent basis.
The 25-year-old centre-half, who has one year remaining on his contract at Ipswich, spent the second half of the season on loan at the Walkers Stadium.
He told the Leicester Mercury: "I have spoken to the manager (Nigel Pearson) and he said he would like to do something, so I will have to wait and see. There are a few hurdles to overcome and a lot will depend on how much Ipswich ask for me."
Bruce added: "I hope they do get something sorted but, if they don't, I will knuckle down at Ipswich and win my place back."
