County delay director announcement

Notts County have delayed announcing their new technical director.

A press conference had been called for Thursday where it was thought that the experienced Paul Hart could be unveiled as the man who will oversee the development of new manager Craig Short.

The announcement has been delayed, though, but chairman Ray Trew remains focussed on getting the man he wants.

"Whilst I am disappointed I am not in a position to announce a new technical director tomorrow, I am not prepared to rush such a decision," he told the club's official website.

"We would rather take our time to ensure it is the right appointment."
