Doncaster have announced the signing of George Friend from Wolves on a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old left back, who made just seven appearances over two seasons with the midlands club, joins on a free transfer after his contract at Molineux was not extended.
The former Exeter defender made just one Premier League appearance last season, playing in the 3-0 defeat at Manchester United in December which saw Wolves receive a suspended fine of £25,000 for fielding an under-strength side.
He also spent time on loan at Millwall, Southend, Scunthorpe and Exeter last term.
Friend bolsters Rovers' left-back options following the departures of Sean McDaid and Gareth Roberts to Carlisle and Derby respectively.
