Michael Pook, Josh Low and Dave Bird have all signed new contracts with Cheltenham.

Pook and Low have both penned two-year contracts at Whaddon Road while Bird has signed for another year to hand a boost to manager Mark Yates` pre-season plans. All three were key performers for the Robins last season, making 119 appearances between them in 2009/10, and Yates is delighted to have secured their services.

He told the club`s official website: "They`re good players and we all know that. It`s up to us to get some good players to go with them now so we can build a strong and competitive squad. We tried to keep the better players we had and it was important that we did have a sense of continuity rather than building a completely new squad."
