County snap up Nelson

Notts County have signed former Brentford and Aberdeen goalkeeper Stuart Nelson on a two-year deal, subject to a medical.

Nelson, who started his career at Doncaster before making over 130 appearances for Brentford, spent last season at Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen, making three appearances.

Nelson will challenge another new signing, Rob Burch, for the number one jersey at Meadow Lane.
