Shrimpers wage cap leaves duo without clubs

Football News 24/7Southend have agreed to cancel the contracts of defender Adam Barrett and midfielder Alan McCormack after a request from the pair.
The Shrimpers are now subject to a wage cap following their relegation to League Two and both players were among the higher earners at the club.
Barrett and McCormack have now left Roots Hall on a free transfer and can now seek new clubs.
