Burton have completed the signing of Crewe goalkeeper Adam Legzdins.
The 23-year-old, who began his career at Birmingham, turned down the offer of a new contract with the Railwaymen in a bid to secure more regular first-team football.
Legzdins, who will remain with the Brewers until 2012, told the club's official website: "I am really looking forward to joining Burton. I spoke to [defender] John Brayford and he told me what a good set-up it is here at Burton.
I am also looking forward to working with Kevin Poole again who was one of my coaches when I was younger at Birmingham City. I can't wait to get playing again and hopefully helping Burton to have a good season."
