Hornets capture Gilmartin

Watford have completed the signing of goalkeeper Rene Gilmartin from Walsall on a two-year deal.

The 23-year-old was out of contract with the npower League One side and the Hornets have agreed a compensation package to allow the Irishman to move to Vicarage Road.

Gilmartin will provide cover for number one Scott Loach after Richard Lee left the club this summer.
