Swansea confirm Sousa exit

Swansea have confirmed the departure of manager Paulo Sousa.

The 39-year-old Portuguese has been linked with the managerial vacancy at fellow npower Championship club Leicester, with the Foxes are seeking a successor to Nigel Pearson after he quit the club to join Hull City.

A statement on Swansea's official club website read: "Swansea can confirm that Paulo Sousa has left the club by mutual consent. The club will make a further statement at 9.30am."
