Bakayogo commits to Rovers

Tranmere defender Zoumana Bakayogo has signed a new one-year contract at Prenton Park.

The 23-year old left-back joined Rovers last October and became a regular in Les Parry's side as they survived relegation. His performances quickly saw him become a fans' favourite and he came second in the Player of the Season voting.

Parry said: "I'm delighted Zoom has decided to stay at the club. He was one of our most consistent performers last season and he has a fantastic attitude in training and around the ground."
