Portsmouth youngster Florent Cuvelier has agreed to join Stoke on a two-year deal, according to the player's advisor.

The Potters are believed to have beaten off competition from Premier League rivals Manchester City, Fulham and Tottenham to land the 17-year-old.

Cuvelier's advisor Alex Levak told skysports.com: "Florent is delighted to have finalised a deal with Stoke. He was very impressed by Stoke from the off, their professionalism and enthusiasm, and it did not take long to agree."

He added: "Florent is now looking forward to being back with a Premier League club and pushing into the first-team squad over the next season."
