Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler is running the rule over former Ajax midfielder Stanley Abroah.
The 23-year-old will be given the chance to impress on Tuesday night when the Gills face Dartford ahead of their League Two campaign.
Speaking to Kent Online, the Gills boss said: "He is coming in and is supposed to be the real deal. It's another option, you need to give these people a chance as you never know."
Abroah made four first-team appearances for the Dutch giants and has represented Belgium at Under-19 level. He has recently been plying his trade with AS Trecin in the Slovakian Second Division.
