Latics winger suffers hamstring strain

Oldham winger Chris Taylor is back in the treatment room after suffering a hamstring strain.

Taylor, whose previous campaign was blighted by injury and illness, limped out of Saturday's pre-season friendly at Barrow but is hopeful the problem is not serious.

"I felt a twinge and thought it best to come off straight away," he told the Latics' official website. "It feels sore but hopefully it will settle down in the next couple of days and prove nothing too serious."

Taylor will miss Monday night's friendly at home to Burnley.
