Tykes get Trippier

Barnsley have re-signed Manchester City full-back Kieran Trippier on loan.

The 19-year-old, who impressed in three matches during a short spell with the Yorkshire club last season, will remain at Oakwell until January, although the deal could be extended.

"Kieran is a very highly-rated right-back and our supporters saw glimpses of that during his time here last season," Tykes boss Mark Robins told the club`s official website.

"He is an England Under-19 international and I am very pleased to have brought him back to the club."
