Ipswich manager Roy Keane has confirmed that the club have had a bid accepted for Wigan striker Jason Scotland.
Keane has been desperate to add to his squad all summer with little success but is closing in on the former Swansea man.
He told the club's official website: "We have had an offer for Jason accepted but that is just the start of it. There are terms to discuss, and we don't know if he wants to come here. He has his family to consider and there will be agents involved."
He added: "We are constantly being linked with players and the situation changes by the hour.
"But it is possible that we could have one or two additions to the squad next week."
