Sousa salutes striker Campbell

Leicester manager Paulo Sousa tipped DJ Campbell to finish as the top scorer in the npower Championship despite the striker drawing a blank against Middlesbrough.

Sousa singled out Campbell, who helped Blackpool win promotion last season, for special praise following the goalless draw.

"For me, in this league, he can be the best goalscorer. He has a lot of energy and enjoys his game. Hopefully DJ will be here for a long time," said the former Portugal midfielder.

"DJ is massively important to us. He was unlucky not to score from the three chances he had."

On his side's all-round display he added: "I think it was a good performance. There were moments in the game when we played some brilliant football."
