Football News 24/7Sheffield United boss Gary Speed is in talks with Plymouth to bring assistant head coach John Carver to Bramall Lane.
Argyle boss Peter Reid has given Carver permission to speak to the Blades as new manager Speed attempts to build a new coaching team.
Reid told his club's official website: "Sheffield United called me and I have given them permission to have a chat with John."
