Taylor completes Hornets switch

Watford have signed Middlesbrough defender Andrew Taylor on a half-season loan deal.

The left-back has made just one substitute appearance for Gordon Strachan's side this season and will add competition for places at Vicarage Road.

The 24-year-old will not be allowed to feature against Boro when the sides meet in the npower Championship on September 25.

His loan deal will keep him with the Hornets until January.
