Palace snap up Gardner

Crystal Palace have completed a deadline-day swoop for Hull defender Anthony Gardner.

Eagles boss George Burley has snapped up the 29-year-old on loan until January.

Gardner was Hull's record signing when he joined from Tottenham in a £2.5million deal in 2008.

He could make his Palace debut at Reading next month.
