Latics get double boost

Oldham have been boosted with the news that injured duo Ryan Brooke and Greg Fleming are set to return to full training before the end of the month.

Striker Brooke damaged ankle ligaments in the Latics' final pre-season friendly, and it was feared he could be ruled out for up to six months.

Goalkeeper Fleming sustained a knee injury during pre-season in a reserve-team friendly at Rhyl and was expected to be out for at least three months.

However, both players have been pencilled in to return to full training on Monday next week.
