Dempsey grabs point for Cottagers

Clint Dempsey struck for Fulham to ensure Mark Hughes' side maintained their unbeaten start to the Barclays Premier League season at Blackburn.

Dempsey headed home in the second half after Chris Samba's opener had initially put Rovers in control at Ewood Park.

The match might have been there for the taking for either side after that, but fear of defeat won the day as the game drifted into a stalemate.
