Glovers trial French stopper

Yeovil have taken French goalkeeper Christophe Ott on trial.

The 27-year-old is aiming to impress Glovers boss Terry Skiverton and make a big impression in English football following spells with French side Niort and Greece's FC Ionikos.

"Christophe is an athletic goalkeeper with brilliant reflexes and great agility. His shot-stopping qualities are evident, and his command of the area is imposing," Ott's agent Menzo Messaoudi told Sky Sports.

Messaoudi added: "I would like to thank Skiverton for taking a look at him, and I hope that Ott does enough to earn himself a contract, as I know just how much he fancies the challenge of the English game."
