Sven-Goran Eriksson was pleased with what he saw from his first game in charge of Leicester after the Thailand national side were beaten 2-0.

The mid-season friendly was organised by the club's new Thai owners, who are keen to forge relations between Leicester and their native country.

Eriksson said: "We did a lot of good things, others we must be better on."

He added: "It was good for me to see the team, they made a lot of effort to be disciplined and keep their shape. I am happy with the performance and happy with the result."

Martyn Waghorn and Paul Gallacher scored the goals for Leicester in the first half.
